Christ with me, Christ before me,
Christ behind me, Christ within me,
Christ beneath me, Christ above me,
Christ at my right, Christ at my left,
Christ in the heart of everyone who thinks of me,
Christ in the mouth of everyone who speaks to me,
Christ in every eye that sees me,
Christ in every ear that hears me.
Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle,
be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil;
may God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do thou O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the divine power,
thrust into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world
seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
The Direction of Intentions
Direct O Lord, all our actions by thy Inspiration
so that all that we do may begin by Thee,
may be for Thee,
and may by Thee be happily ended. Amen.
